Business Development Manager

We are looking to add to our team at The Panther Group! The Business Development Manager will be responsible for initiating and closing new business for all disciplines within the company. This will include prospecting targets, conducting outreach, developing new relationships, securing contracts, cultivating current partnerships ultimately generating overall revenue for all business units.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a full understanding of all disciplines for a consistent message and sales methodology
  • Lead generation - identify companies and contacts for new business opportunities
  • Prospect for potential clients using various methods including cold calling, email, face to face meetings and networking events. Must be self-sufficient in the generation of new leads.
  • Strategically develop quality targets to align with the sales focus and ensure a continuous pipeline of targets/contacts
  • Initiate new business: secure contracts, initiate the engagement of relationships, acquire new job requisitions and collaborate on fulfillment
  • Build and further cultivate partnerships for repeat sales, and/or expanding opportunities for all disciplines
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Collaborate with peers for fulfillment of positions as well as lead generation
  • Monitor market, industry and competitor trends
  • Identify and attend networking events to obtain new prospects and promote The Panther Group brand

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of staffing industry experience (In addition to Sales, Account Management and Recruitment will be considered as well).
  • Ability to drive new business
  • Experience within a sales environment - passion for hunting /prospecting and closing
  • Comfortable and skilled at outreach via calls and email correspondence, must have excellent follow through
  • Prior success in a Metrics, sales driven environment
  • Negotiating skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, as well as ability to deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
  • Must be organized with excellent attention to detail
