Position Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- Unscheduled maintenance
- Troubleshooting- Systematically identifying issues and problems within the complex mechanical systems, electronics, computers, and software systems within the Stryker family of vehicles.
- Meet safety requirements with OSHA, ANSI and ASME industrial standards.
- Other duties as may be required / assigned.
Position Requirements
Completion of High School / GED required
Two (2) to Five (5) years of related mechanic work experience. (Equivalent military service acceptable).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Stryker Vehicle experience preferred.
Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic (such as US Army MOSs 63B, 63S, 63W or 63B MCM or USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524) preferred. Experience with Stryker, LAV 2.5 or LAV III desirable.
Must meet and maintain ASR guidelines for driver's station entry as described in Standard Practice 2-644
Dexterity in fingers of both hand
Ability to be issued and maintain a Class B CDL
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
Valid driver's license required
