Commercial Real Estate Project Manager

Job Summary
  • Executive assistant to the NY Real Estate Lending Group manager; support all strategic planning and tactical execution.

Job Description
  • Processing strategic initiatives. Current initiatives include, but are not limited to:
    • Real estate exposure limits;
    • Developing new products, including:
    • Construction lending platform;
    • Warehouse lending platform;
    • Coordinating the integration of the Middle Office function into core process;
    • Consolidating CRE lending across the US footprint;
    • Coordinating, with IT/Operations, efficient portfolio reporting;
    • Standardizing CRE covenant monitoring across the footprint;
    • Profitability measuring and reporting (including the RAROC process);
  • Budget preparation
  • P&L monitoring
  • Portfolio reporting
  • Loan and deposit forecasting
  • CRE procedure updating;
  • Foster positive internal relationships, significantly including:
    • Credit Risk Management
    • Middle Office
    • Loan Servicing/Administration
    • Loan Operations/IT
    • Deposit Operations/Cash Management
    • Compliance/Internal Audit
  • Cross sell mapping and tracking, including:
    • Deposit gathering;
    • Treasury derivative products;
    • Cash Management services;
    • Private Banking referrals;
    • Wealth Management investment products.
  • Work flow standardization, including:
    • Collateral property financial modeling;
    • Loan underwriting procedures and forms;
    • Loan origination process efficiency;
    • Loan servicing process efficiency.

  • 2-3 years of wholesale lending experience (underwriting or relationship management);
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Effective at working independently;
  • Excellent organizational and (verbal and writing) communication skills.
  • Bachelor/Four-year college degree;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and contribute to internal leverage;
