Position Title Customer Service Representative

Overview

Looking for health care representatives to function as the front-line contacts with all incoming calls from members and prospective members in a high-volume call center.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond accurately to calls related to status changes, guidelines, eligibility, authorizations, and procedures
  • Provide members with all current healthcare options available within their assigned network using knowledge gained through training and other sources
  • Conduct health care need assessment for members, including existing and anticipated need for all eligible family members as needed
  • Complete all related paperwork and necessary forms within established timeframes and guidelines
  • Investigate third party resources and comply with administrative requirements
  • Perform all data entry functions to reflect member or provider activity and transactions
  • Facilitate the resolution of non-clerical issues related to compliance and participation
  • Conduct all interactions in a discreet, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Perform comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Proficient in MS Window applications


Qualifications

  • Background in customer service, human services, health care, or service related field preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
