Seeking a Director for M/O Trade Processing. Will be the manager for a team of 5-6, responsible for providing investment operational support to various funds, separately managed accounts and portfolio companies. Functional responsibilities will include responsibility for the end-to-end middle office operational support that includes strategy support, trade confirmation, trade settlement, trade booking, trade life-cycle event support, and cash projections. Primary fund structures will include public funds (REIT & BDC), structured credit funds, and regulated insurance funds. The environment is fast-paced and requires exceptional attention to detail, high-touch capabilities and excellent communications. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Oversee the daily reconciliation (cash, position, accruals) process Provide daily cash liquidity reporting and ensure each fund has appropriate cash reserves and FX cash for upcoming deals/settlements Assist with launching new funds and liquidating wind down funds while identifying items that stray from our standard practices and procedures Handle the mechanics of complicated settlements and restructurings in conjunction with risk, tax, deal team and counsel Ensure that all margin/collateral calls have been actioned and setup wires to facilitate movement of cash Evaluate new products and our ability to track cost, position, accruals and general lifecycle events Minimize the number of failed and unmatched trades Monitor the set ups of ISDA s with external counsel Work with the technology team to build new and improve existing connectivity with our business partners Liaise with fund controllers/fund administrators to confirm P&L throughout the month and resolve all issues/breaks for month end signoff Act as an operational functional expert regarding our procedures and capabilities for all other business divisions Managing imperative stakeholder relationships both internally and externally Qualification and Experience Requirements Bachelor s degree with 10+ years of relevant operations experience Solid working knowledge of various investment products including a mix of corporate bonds, ABS, bank debt term loans, private loans, Revolver/Delayed Draw loans, repos, whole loans, cash & synthetic structured credit, options, and swaps Must have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Prior management experience is a must Demonstrated experience with process improvements strongly desired Project Management experience is a plus Knowledge of VPM, Everest, PAM or IVP is a plus as will train
