- Lead engineering team in designing the latest US Military robotics systems
- Plan staff assignments and actively deploy staff based on needs
- Use problem solving skills to ensure all project objectives are met
- Occasionally travel into the field for testing, experiments, detailed analysis and report writing
- Manage, mentor, and coach the team of 101-15 electrical engineers and technicians
- Use strong background in analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design as well as power electronics and RF systems
- Design and architect new systems of all levels for robotics platforms and controls
- Perform large-scale problem solving to develop new electrical architectures and concepts to support the project objectives
- Refine and develop new electrical engineering processes for both PCB and cable design in addition to other engineering related standard operating procedures
- Power electronics design experience
- Analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design
- Strong knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated skill in managing teams of engineers
- B.S. In Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering plus 12-15 years experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- RF design experience
- PCB and Cable design experience
- Prior work in the field of robotics
- Worked with BUS protocols
- Have worked in robotics
- Field testing
- Experience with specialized standards like DOD or IEEE
- C/C++ experience
- Knowledge of C#
- Design motor controllers
- FMEA experience
