Background/skills/capabilities required for this engagement:
  • Assist Product Development staff with building and testing batteries using laboratory or pilot equipment
  • Measure Electrical properties, electrical performance, and physical dimensions of cells, batteries and charger
  • Submit samples and corresponding forms for testing
  • Collect, tabulate, and summarize raw data using Excel and proprietary databases

Daily Duties Include:
  • Attention to detail, flexible, curious, logical thinker who can follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis. Ability to create graphs/tables to support key conclusions and/or enable deeper analyses by other project team members.
  • Ability to recognize trends/shifts in data
  • Neat, detail oriented person with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Product Development / Research and Development experience desired or recent graduate
  • Electrical, electronic or battery lab experience desired
  • Hands-on skills beneficial assembly, repair, woodworking, DIY, etc
  • Troubleshoot simple PCB boards, add, modify or replace components
  • Ability to maintain clear, accurate records and a confidential lab notebook
  • Familiar with small scale resistance welding a plus
  • Video editing is a plus (to add to PowerPoint presentations)

The requirements for this assignment include:
  • Associates Degree or higher in EE or engineering science/technology
  • Other educational backgrounds will be considered
