A Project Engineer will be involved in a broad facet of engineering projects ranging from supporting business development, consulting customers, to designing and carrying out an Engineering tests and product developments. Solving challenging engineering problems and work effectively in various team environments.


Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
  • Supporting sales team on proposal and quote development
  • Customer consultation and collaborative development of an engineering solution
  • Design development and analysis of the proposed spin test solution
    • Designing a custom test rotor, tooling & test rig parts
    • Selecting & designing sensors and instrumentations
    • Developing a test strategy and creating an execution plan
  • Implementing and executing the engineering tests to customer s requirements
  • Analysis of test data and report preparation
  • Project management & timely delivery of the results
  • Leading / supporting the design and development of equipment and new products

Project Engineer will interact and collaboratively work with his/her customer(s), and the members of the sales and the operations groups. The Project Engineers role requires a pragmatism and a hands-on approach to manage and solve challenging problems.

  • U.S. Citizen/U.S. Green Card
  • Degree from an accredited College in Mechanical or Aerospace preferred
  • Fluency in CAD (we use Solidworks)
  • Detailing/drafting work based on the ASME Y14.5-2009 engineering drawing standards
  • Experience in planning and execution of engineering projects
  • Experience in machine design and implementation
  • Experience in designing engineering tests, analyzing data & deducting the results
  • Experience in trouble shooting technical problems
  • FEA / Stress analysis
  • Rotor Dynamics and vibrations
  • Report writing skills
  • Ability to Lead a team
  • Team player, a person of good character and embodies professionalism
  • Willingness to learn and grow as a professional
  • Computer literate, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Office environment: Well lit, conditioned (heated and cooled) environment
  • In and around the spin test facility and manufacturing shop floor

  • Sitting at desk @ 80% of the day
  • Some hands-on work with technicians when implementing tests
