Position Title - Property Coordinator

Overview

A successful candidate for the property coordinator position will be a customer-focused team player who provides support to the team and helps to coordinate financial and accounting information associated with the management and maintenance of different properties.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable for properties, generate purchase orders, and code invoices
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Set up and maintain files, materials, information, and schedules
  • Manage database of key clients and contacts
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, packets, and other information related to property management and operations
  • Coordinate contract bids and performance reports
  • Provide phone support or other activities as needed

 

Required Skills

  • Highly organized and task oriented
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines and adapt readily to changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent people skills with ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, vendors, contractors, and tenants
  • Ability to write detailed notes and draft communications to tenants, vendors, and others
  • Self-starter
  • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and MRI experience a plus


Qualifications

  • AS/AA degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and additional experience
  • Minimum two years-experience assisting with real estate, property management, or property accounting
