Position Title - Senior Customer Service Associate

Overview

This position works with our buyers to process purchase orders with our suppliers. We engineer a diverse portfolio of high tech solutions, products, and services and partner with the best in industry to expand the bounds of innovation in the defense and scientific arenas.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical, administrative, and support to the supply chain function using various ERP tools after training
  • Engage with suppliers as required and influence them to respond in a timely manner to requests
  • Represent company in a professional manner to external supplier
  • Answers related questions to the certification of compliance
  • Track supplier status, entry of data, and escalation of supplier issues
  • Work in a consistent manner that allows the consolidation of metric reporting to the team lead

  • Ability to act in a professional manner at all times
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Skilled in follow up of outstanding issues
  • Collaborative with team members and take on additional tasks as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Fundamental knowledge of Word, Excel, and configuration control of documents
  • Ability to analyze situations and request help from supervisor as needed


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Due to the nature of work performed within these facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
