Position Title: Vendor Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor procurement
  • Assist in developing vendor management methods and monitor vendor performance
  • Support Compliance Department personnel with evaluating, identifying, and resolving risks related to third party entities
  • Create and promote standardization in the materials used with vendors
  • Aid in the development of tools for the vendor scoring and vetting process
  • Train personnel on vendor management responsibilities and implementation of documents
  • Create end-to-end alignment between vendor performance, service delivery, and organization goals
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for supply chain improvements
  • Establish score-carding programs with selected vendors to support innovative quality performance programs
  • Light travel (10% to 20%) required

Required Skills:
  • Strong computer skills (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping practices
  • Understanding of internal controls and relevant vendor compliance frameworks
  • Prior experience in vendor management, compliance, risk management or auditing
  • Independent and able to motivate others
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continued education through professional educational workshops

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or other related area of concentration OR 2-3 years (or more) of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with different levels of personnel and demonstrated success in building relationships cross-functionally
