Job Title: Welder
Reports To: Fabrication Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Must be able to perform high quality GTAW, FCAW, and SMAW welds.
Must be able to read and understand drawings and supporting manufacturing documentation.
Must be able to use precision measuring instruments.
Must be able to layout, fit up and fabrication of steel, stainless and aluminum weldments.
Must be able to work with little supervision and be a self-starter.
Full-time regular day shift with some overtime necessary.
Must be capable of lifting 60 pounds
Must be capable of walking and climbing.
Must be capable of bending and twisting his or her body in various positions.
Must be capable of sitting or standing for long periods of time.
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with his or her coworker during assembly procedures.
Must have good vision and coordination to control the size of the weld puddle to achieve high quality welds.
Must be able to read and write to follow our documentation assembly procedures and sign off documentation as required.
Must be high school graduate or equivalent.
Must have five years experience in fabrication of pressure vessels and welding a variety of materials.
Millwright, machine shop and maintenance experience a plus.
