Job Description

 AV Conference Services
Based in San Francisco, the AV Video Collaboration Services Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support to meetings and presentations involving customers and operational support for collaboration functions in the assigned San Francisco office. This role will actively participate in maintaining and improving the timeliness and quality of Video and Audio support provided to all customer constituencies within the assigned office.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Video Conferencing Services.

Responsibilities include:
  • Setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment, collaboration technologies (Zoom/Cisco Rooms, Teams), including setting up equipment used to enhance live events (townhall meetings/webinars, etc.) such as laptops, projectors, screens and microphones.
  • Operating sound equipment and conference room lighting.
  • Performing sound checks for Video Conferences and dry run meetings, while resolving equipment issues that may arise.
  • Providing stand-by support for conferences and video conferences.
  • Administering room scheduling software to generate reports and ensuring up to date requirements are accurately captured.
  • Logging AV fault tickets with vendor and liaising through to resolution.
  • Keeping inventory of conference room equipment and technology supplies, such as chargers, AC adapters, batteries, and clickers, and orders supplies as needed.
  • Responding to conference room attendee technology requests and needs, and troubleshooting problems utilizing standard troubleshooting tools.

  • Performing effectively as a second-level technical resource to resolve customer problems and provide technical leadership to other local IS resources.
  • Maintaining the operational availability of all technology-related equipment and IS resources, including laptops, desktops, printers, servers, data communication equipment, network infrastructure, telephone equipment, and audio-visual systems.
  • Performing, maintaining, and adhering to Firm-wide and departmental policies, standards, operational guidelines, and administrative procedures relating to IS function.
  • Encouraging and promoting teamwork between local, regional, and Global Services IS resources.
  • Participates as an active team member on IS projects to which assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to interact with co-workers and clients at all levels under deadline pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, and team skills.
  • Diplomacy, professionalism, good judgment, and courtesy by phone, in-person, and email.
  • On-site position with the ability to work overtime as may be necessary.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of technical/AV support experience.
  • Experience providing IS support in a Legal or Professional Services environment with attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, and problem-solve while remaining calm.
  • Experience with Zoom (including Zoom rooms) and/or MS Teams preferred.
  • Experience with Cisco Video Conferencing equipment preferred.
  • Experience with audiovisual technologies (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Office 365 preferred but not essential).
Pay rate DoE of $38-$40/hr
