AVP/VP Officer-Treasury and Capital Markets Trade Support
Job Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for the Clearing, Settlement and Transaction Maintenance for Government Securities, Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset Backed Securities, Corporate Securities, Money Market Loans and Deposits, Certificates of Deposit and Commercial Paper
Clearing
  • Handle the confirmation and delivery instruction process of the products listed
  • Liaise with affiliates regarding executing and settling foreign Notes, Bonds, Equities
Settlement
  • Handle the settlement process of the products listed
  • Monitor fixed income interest adjustment, investigations and related payments
  • Handle Rollovers/Partial rollovers
  • Fail control
  • Use SWIFT to process manual orders/cash settlement
Transaction Maintenance
  • Track and process interest reset and payment dates
  • Reconcile product statements i.e. custody statements, futures clearer statements
  • assist in preparation of cash flow models
  • construct and maintain credit files on each active client
  Required Qualification: Education Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Knowledge of Equities, Futures, Forward Rate Agreements, Interest Rate Swaps, RePo agreements and Reverse RePo agreements, Broker/Dealer Operations, Money transfer processing/investigations and Swift systems a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency in most common PC applications, including spreadsheets and databases i.e. Word, Excel, Access
  Personal Competencies Self-starter, high initiative, fast learner, independent worker with a Customer oriented attitude, good communication skills. Must be Detail oriented, with an analytical approach to problem solving

Base salary of $90K-$100K before targeted 20%-30% discretionary bonus
