Job Description

The Panther Group is looking for an Associate Director of HRIS & HRIT  either remote or in the New Brunswick, NJ area. 
Core Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the functional/ technical administration of the Human Resources Information Systems across UHR, along with administering access control for PeopleSoft roles and responsibilities
  • Responsible for the integrity of PeopleSoft employee data, table structures, inbound / outbound interfaces, and system enhancements & testing.
  • Develop in depth employee data analytics, reporting, and dashboarding to proactively support Senior Leadership’s HR strategy.
  • Responsible for managing special projects as assigned by the Director of HRIS/IT.
  • Partner with internal/external functional leaders to continuously improve and interface systems to provide a more seamless user experience. Responsible for all regulatory reporting pertaining to OPRA, AAP, NJ State Health Benefits & Pensions, and DOL requests.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining procedures and guidelines related to HRIS and HRIT
  • Deliver computing solutions for Human Resources function within tight deadlines and with limited resources.
  • Partner with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) for guidance and assistance with PeopleSoft technical assistance, business intelligence, and virtual server support.
  • Audit entry into the HRIS system and support HR to ensure accuracy and increase efficiency.
  • Implement audit control steps to ensure data integrity and compliance with established standards.
  • Manage hardware and software usage in UHR and determine hardware purchasing needs based on onboarding & off-boarding of UHR team members.
  • Manage staff who performs analytical, technical, and administrative work to plan, design, and install networked and stand-alone computer systems.
  • Develop procedures and guidelines on equipment maintenance and maintaining data and software security.
  • Work closely with all areas of UHR to find the best solutions and efficient ways to streamline system processes
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the management and operations of computing systems and database administration.

Required Skills
  • Experience with Windows applications, distributed systems programming, database administration, networking concepts and IT security.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage a large-scale multiplatform operation supporting client/server and web-based applications is needed.
  • Strong operational support leader and a proven leader and builder of high-performance teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required as well.
  • Experience with mainframe, Oracle Database Design, transactional processing, data warehousing, query and reporting tools is desired.
  • Strong detailed and conceptual thinking skills to analyze complex problems and propose solutions despite technical and operational constraints.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and data privacy requirements.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience using any reporting and analysis platforms is desirable.
