Job Description

The Application Specialist Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom web, desktop, and mobile applications.
Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
  • Develop or modify custom programs for existing applications such as reports, interfaces, conversions or extensions
  • Design and develop custom systems where COTS applications are not applicable
  • Test, debug and document custom programming
  • Follow internal design standards
  • Follow internal development methodology
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems). Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • 10 years of development experience
  • Experience with one or more programming language such as SQL, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Access, ASP, Database connections
  • Experience with Web Services (IIS / Tomcat)
  • Experience migrating home-grown solutions to new Enterprise ready environments
  • Experience with BOT development, Automation, ChatGPT.
  • Experience with using SFTP to push and pull data from external systems.
  • Experience working with sensitive / personal data.
  • Experience Cloud Applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of IT development methodology such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
Additional Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of SOX IT requirements

Schedule:  9-80 Work Schedule (This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. Work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off!)
