Job Description
As a Business Analyst, communication skill with insurance and experience with data modeling on policy administration system are both required for success in this role. Â
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team of business analysts, developers, and architects responsible for new business system development and existing system maintenance from both onshore and offshore to ensure correct interpretation of business need v/s product OOB boundaries.
- Identify key risks and dependencies and escalate in a timely manner
- Experience with Document Management and Workflows
- Review of deliverables to sanitize the quality of deliverables of dev/testing/BA team.
- Perform root cause analysis and solution/resolution for all the problems identified
- Advanced communication abilities, including the ability to work with people from various departments within the company.
- Knowledge of the project management process. In strategic business management, the ability to detect and deal with data will be crucial.
- Presentation platforms, data administration in spreadsheets, and the development of reports are among the skills required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in preferably in Business, Computer Information Services, Insurance and Risk Management or related field
- Minimum of 4 to 8 years of P&C insurance
- Experience in requirements gathering, identifying gaps, estimating, implementation, and User Acceptance Testing definition and execution
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across the organization and clients on a regular basis
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with all team members including business stakeholders and IT team members
