The Panther Group is expanding the Business Development team, where you will be responsible for initiating and securing new business for all disciplines. This is a fantastic sales opportunity, not limited by territory or discipline.

In this role you will prospect and identify viable targets, developing new relationships and cultivate current partnerships ultimately generating revenue for all business units.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing a full understanding of all disciplines ensuring a consistent message, sales methodology and execution of The Panther service delivery
  • Lead generation you will identify viable prospects for new business opportunities using various methods including cold calling, email, face to face meetings and networking events. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient in the generation of leads
  • Strategically identifying and developing quality targets that align with the overall sales focus/goals. Responsible for building a continuous pipeline of targets/contacts
  • Initiating and securing contracts, engaging new relationships, acquiring job requisitions as well as collaboration on fulfillment
  • Building and further cultivating partnerships for repeat sales, and/or expanding opportunities for all disciplines
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients while meeting revenue goals
  • Collaborating with the internal team on the fulfillment of positions
  • Monitoring market, industry and competitor trends
  • Identifying and attending networking events to obtain new prospects and promote The Panther Group brand

  • 3+ years of staffing industry experience (In addition to a Sales background, we will consider Account Management and/or Recruitment as well).
  • A proven ability to drive new business, outstanding follow through and negotiation skills
  • Success in a metric, sales driven environment
  • Experience within a sales environment - passion for hunting /prospecting and closing
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, as well as ability to deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
  • Must be organized with attention to detail
