Job Description

The Panther Group has an immediate need for a Cable Assembler in the Franklin, MA area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The mechanical assembler will be focused more on cable work. Looking for someone experienced in soldering application, custom cable terminations.
Minimal electro-mechanical assembly using proper grounding techniques.
Following work instructions, perform repetitive assembly operations.
Produce quality work to specified time standards.
Execute in-process checks using visual inspection and check lists.
Possess an aptitude for cross functional training to reduce takt time.
Utilize a variety of hand tools such as screw drivers, hex keys, drills, saws, tape measures and fixtures.
Coordinating with teammates participate in manually integrating large subassemblies to complete a final assembly.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Education or GED
Some manufacturing experienced desired
Basic print reading and experience in wire dressing and termination
Proficient in reading and measuring using a tape measure
Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant
