CABLE INSPECTOR Â
Our client has an immediate need for a Cable Inspector in the Clearwater, FL area. They are a leading global security, technology, and aerospace company. You will be responsible for inspecting cables and wiring systems to ensure they meet industry specifications and standards.Â

Our client has an immediate need for a Cable Inspector in the Clearwater, FL area. They are a leading global security, technology, and aerospace company. You will be responsible for inspecting cables and wiring systems to ensure they meet industry specifications and standards.Â
Responsibilities:
- Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed Cable Inspections.
- Uses various measuring devices.
- Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas if needed.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Communicates effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues. This includes detail-orientation and proficiency at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management when resolving quality issues.
- 2+ years of experience with cables and able to identify non-conformances IAW IPC-A-620, & specific other requirements.
- 2+ years’ experience in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections.
- 2+ years’ soldering experience.
- Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.
- Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
- A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management when resolving quality issues.
- Proficient with Personal Computers and newer applications.
