Job Description
The Panther Group is seeking Cable Inspectors for an exciting opportunity with a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Clearwater, FL. If you have experience inspecting cable assemblies, interpreting engineering documentation, and working to IPC-A-620 standards, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of cable assemblies using established inspection procedures and specifications.
- Inspect soldered and crimped cable assemblies in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, work instructions, and revision-controlled documentation.
- Utilize inspection tools including micrometers, dial indicators, scales, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and non-conforming products.
- Work closely with assemblers, engineers, test technicians, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Verify products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Assist with assembly-related tasks within assigned inspection areas when needed.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Previous experience performing cable or wire harness inspections in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience inspecting soldered and crimped cable assemblies.
- Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 inspection standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, vision/medical screening, and U.S. Person verification.
- Aerospace, defense, electronics, or military manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment with revision-controlled documentation.
