Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and compliance-focused Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead our HR function in a complex and heavily regulated environment. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CHRO will be responsible for designing and executing human capital strategies that align with our mission, comply with regulatory requirements, and support a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute enterprise-wide HR strategies that support organizational goals and meet federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all employment laws, healthcare industry regulations, and labor practices.
  • Talent Management: Lead initiatives around recruitment, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development for a diverse and distributed workforce.
  • Culture & Employee Engagement: Foster a strong corporate culture that emphasizes accountability, equity, transparency, and employee well-being.
  • Total Rewards: Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs, ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Advance DEI goals and initiatives, ensuring integration into all HR practices.
  • Organizational Development: Drive performance management, training, and organizational effectiveness strategies.
  • Technology & HRIS: Optimize the use of HR technology platforms to support analytics, compliance tracking, and employee lifecycle management.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive HR role.
  • Experience in health insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries a plus
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws, healthcare-specific regulations, and compliance reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural transformation, manage change, and align HR practices with enterprise strategy.
  •  Master Degree Required
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or related certifications strongly preferred.
