Client Accounting Alternative Fee Agreements Analyst
Seeking a Client Accounting Alternative Fee Agreements Analyst to join a global Firm. Within this position, you will review and analyze documents and data; execute projects; and synthesize and present information directly to partners and senior management to meet the evolving needs of the Firm. This position will be based in the New York office and has a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule. 

As the Client Accounting Alternative Fee Agreements Analyst will:
  • Review documentation and electronic files to create database records summarizing alternative fee agreements (AFAs); perform ongoing maintenance of related database.
  • Analyze documents and data, interpret results, and summarize findings within the context of legal services provided.
  • Monitor and analyze performance of individual matters and portfolios of business against established budgets, revenue, and realization.
  • Prepare fee proposals based on the nature of services and type of fee arrangement.
  • Compile and analyze historical data, identify trends, and recommend optimal fee structures to offer services profitably.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and demonstrate strategic thinking based on the needs of executive management of the Firm.
  • Provide relevant knowledge and support to others in the Firm in a manner that increases the level of understanding of and facilitates the implementation of AFAs.
  • Understand and respond to inquiries and requests made by attorneys, secretaries, legal assistants, and staff and exhibit this understanding through the use of effective communication.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of job-related computer technology/software, e.g. Excel, Word, and relational databases
  • Knowledge of Law Firm operation, policies, and procedures
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to handle and lead multiple projects, assignments, and shifting responsibilities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to synthetize, interpret, and summarize information in a clear and concise manner
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs
Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of three years related experience
Hybrid work schedule
Targeted salary of $90K-$100K
