Position Summary
We are seeking a Client Billing Specialist for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Norwood, MA. This person will support recurring client billing activities, including statements, payment files, wire documentation, and custom invoices. The role is a potential temp-to-hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Thursday, 12:00–8:30 PM.
Later hours may be required at month-end or for special statement runs. ****If month-end falls on a weekend, up to five hours of afternoon work may be required.***
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute client statements according to daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly schedules.
Create and verify custom invoices for accuracy before delivery.
Process and validate payment files, custom reports, and daily wire documentation.
Support accounts with special billing requirements.
Issue manual checks when needed and maintain organized billing records.
Complete assigned billing projects while meeting established deadlines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting preferred.
Three or more years of client billing or related experience preferred.
Strong Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with billing or payment processing systems preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to work onsite in Norwood and accommodate the stated Thursday and month-end hours.
