Consumer Deposit Product Manager
 
Will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of full-cycle consumer banking product development that includes translating strategic objectives into actionable product initiatives for Consumer Deposit Products and services.  The manager ensures that deposit products reach profitability and strategic objectives and serves as a principal point of contact for Product Management with our internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Product Development and Management: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Consumer Deposit products, including inception, market analysis, design, development, testing, pricing, fees, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Ensure product offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with bank strategy and member needs. Work closely with Retail to integrate deposit product offerings into the full product/services suite.
  • Product Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and report on product portfolio trends including P&L, Balances, Fee income, Productions, and Attrition. Provide corrective action recommendations when performance is not in line with expectations.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving third-party requirements. Use market signals and insights to identify opportunities for new product introductions or enhancements to existing products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Retail & Deposit Operations to ensure processes, procedures, policies, and systems are functioning as designed and partner on projects for implementation.
  • Act as a primary resource and subject matter expert to the Retail line of business by providing expert product knowledge, product applications, and pricing support alongside Finance.
  • Own Go-to-Market strategy alongside Retail, Digital and Marketing for any new product.
  • Knowledge of fundamental regulations governing U.S. retail deposit accounts, payments, and digital banking services is required, including but not limited to Regulation DD, Truth in Savings, Regulation E, Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Patriot Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Apply this knowledge to ensure compliance, risk management, and proper regulatory reporting.
 Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) required or directly related product development experience
  • Minimum of five years of product management, product development, or product marketing experience required
  • Intermediate Banking knowledge of Deposit Products and services
  • Strong reporting, decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, member-oriented, and able to proactively work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
