Procurement Associate (Entry-Level) 

Location: Sterling Heights, MI 
Pay Rate: $28–$31/hour (based on experience) 
Openings: 3

About the Opportunity
We are seeking entry-level Procurement Associates to join a growing team supporting a leading organization in the Sterling Heights, MI area. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level candidate or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in purchasing, supplier management, and procurement operations.

New hires will receive structured on-the-job training during the first month, with exposure to multiple procurement functions and career growth potential into full-time roles.

What We’re Looking For
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or procurement OR recent college graduates with relevant internships or co-op experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field 
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn 
• Solid foundational skills in Microsoft Excel (advanced not required) 
• Strong communication and organizational skills 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

Role Overview
These positions will support procurement operations across multiple functions. Candidates will be considered for one of the following tracks:
• Buyer Point Expediters (2 openings): Focused on supplier coordination, order tracking, and delivery timelines 
• Procurement Analyst / Floater (1 opening): Focused on metrics, spend tracking, reporting, and cross-team support 

Key Responsibilities
• Support procurement activities including purchase orders and subcontract administration 
• Analyze material requirements and support MRP-driven purchasing needs 
• Assist with RFQs, RFPs, and supplier communications 
• Perform basic cost and price analysis 
• Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance 
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery 
• Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting in systems (Oracle experience is a plus) 
• Support procurement metrics, spend analysis, and reporting initiatives 

Additional Details
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance 
• Occasional domestic travel may be required (limited) 
• Team-based environment with exposure to multiple procurement functions 
• Interview process includes a panel interview with hiring managers
