Job Description

Join a multi-generational, family-owned real estate company with a century-long legacy of excellence in property stewardship and tenant care. We’re looking for a Director of Asset Management to lead day-to-day property management operations, oversee complex construction and capital projects, and manage all aspects of tenant and facilities operations across our historic and mixed-use portfolio.

What You’ll Do:
 
  • Oversee property management operations across a diverse commercial and mixed-use real estate portfolio.
  • Lead all construction management activities—including tenant buildouts, capital improvements, and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage project lifecycles from budgeting and bidding to scheduling and delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and direct property management teams, maintenance staff, and external vendors.
  • Ensure all properties are professionally maintained and meet high standards for service, safety, and functionality.
  • Implement systems for project tracking, preventive maintenance, and vendor accountability.
  • Coordinate tenant onboarding, move-ins, and ongoing service needs throughout lease terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all permitting, code, and safety requirements.
  • Serve as a direct liaison to ownership, bringing clarity, urgency, and foresight to every decision.


What We’re Looking For:
 
  • 10+ years of property management and construction oversight experience.
  • Proven success managing major capital projects and day-to-day property operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing both internal teams and third-party contractors.
  • Deep understanding of tenant relations, buildout coordination, and facilities management.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, code compliance, vendor contracts, and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
