Document Quality Assurance

Job Description
- Duties in Document Quality Assurance include but are not limited to:
- Performing reviews of Logistics products for such items as:
- Technical accuracy
- Adherence to military style
- Artwork and text correlation
- Accuracy in spelling, grammar usage, punctuation
- Consistency in fonts, headings, language
- Performing pre-print and post-print reviews for certification of publications
- Interacts with technical writers, Validation and Verification Monitors, RPSTL and Art when necessary.
- Documents errors and confirms corrective action is taken.
- Communicates status to supervisor/other team members as necessary.
- Performing periodic audits of logistics product development activity as assigned
- Performs administrative tasks/other duties as directed by supervisor.
- These activities will be performed both on site as well as remote in a hybrid work environment arrangement.
Position Requirements:
- Applicant will be able to perform the duties of the position described in the detailed description of work above. Experience in logistics/quality assurance in the development of military vehicles a plus
- 10 years relevant experience in related field will be considered in lieu of degree
- Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate specific task information effectively.
- Attention to detail and consistency a must.
- Strong computer skills with familiarity with Mil Std 40051
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Dependable attendance.
