Job Description
The Panther Group is hiring multiple individuals with excellent computer skills for a professional call center. This is a contract-to-hire position!
*Location is minutes from Ivy Tech and Aldi
Responsibilities
Apply eligibility rules and regulations when evaluating information submitted by customers.
Assist other Eligibility Specialists in answering all in-coming calls from customers.
Contact customers to clarify eligibility information if necessary.
Display excellent communication skills, and an understanding of human behavior to establish an atmosphere in which all contacts are positive.
Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
Maintain updated knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures.
Verify data, review case information, and prepare it for case disposition by the State Eligibility Consultant.
Reprocess applications, including case repair, and missing information responses in an accurate and timely manner.
Identify risks by escalating to management and routing technical issues to the appropriate staff.
Attend meetings and trainings as requested.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, certification, or equivalent experience required.
Experience with social services and/or Indiana Eligibility experience, preferred.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience with work/assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues.
Accurate data entry skills and the ability to type at least 40 keystrokes/minute.
Ability to build positive relationships among customers and peers.
Attention to detail; excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, with the ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position, at an office desk for an extended period of time.
