  • Review, analyze, test circuits boards
  • Stay abreast of Lithium Ion IC chip technology
  • Characterize Smart Phones
  • Contribute to test method development
  • Stay abreast of Mobile Phone technology
    • Smart phone chipset evolution
    • Charge method development
  • Perform qualification work based on those methods, which requires, measuring electrical properties, electrical performance, and physical dimensions of cells, batteries and charger
    • Collect, tabulate, and summarize raw data using Excel and proprietary databases
  • Collaborate on the dFMEA development



Must have:
  • Attention to detail, flexible, curious, logical thinker who can follow instructions accurately, able to flow to the work
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis. Ability to create graphs/tables to support key conclusions and/or enable deeper analyses by other project team members.
  • Ability to recognize trends/shifts in data
  • Stay on top of mobile technological developments
  • Familiar with most electronics components and how they work, capacitors, resistors, diodes, MOSFETs etc
  • Knowledge of Lithium Ion and IC chip technology desired
  • Organized, detail oriented person with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Product Development / Research and Development experience desired or recent graduate
  • Electrical, electronic or battery lab experience desired
    • Hands-on skills beneficial assembly, repair, woodworking, DIY, etc
    • Troubleshoot simple PCB boards, add, modify or replace components
  • Ability to maintain clear, accurate records and a confidential lab notebook
  • Familiar with small scale resistance welding a plus



Education
  • Engineering Degree or higher in EE or Electronics engineering science/technology
  • Other educational backgrounds will be considered
