The principal function of this position is to provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President Communications Investor Relations, and the department, as needed. The Executive Assistant will interface with the department, and must be able to foster good teamwork, and exchange of information.
Responsibilities include:Performing administrative assignments involving planning, scheduling and coordinating a wide variety of work assignments; handling travel arrangements; following up on assignments with other employees and communicating with internal/external business contacts; preparing material for presentations; and performing general secretarial duties. Also performs miscellaneous duties as assigned including records management, managing spreadsheets, and handling of confidential information, executive timesheet entry. Required Qualifications & Education: The successful candidate must have a high level of secretarial experience and must demonstrate exceptional initiative and organizational skills in order to handle and manage multiple priorities and a wide variety of administrative responsibilities of the position. Candidates must have integrity and discretion for handling sensitive and confidential information as well as the judgment, tact, excellent customer services skills to handle escalated complaints, and effective interpersonal skills necessary to speak and act on behalf of the executives in contacts with all levels of employees, customers and other business contacts. In addition, this individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point or other presentation software, Excel, Outlook and have a general understanding of all Window applications.
