Job Description

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer; interacting with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.


Responsiblities: 
  •  Act as liaison for Board Members, and Executive Direct Reports.
  •  Organize Executive meetings and prepare materials.
  • Management of calendars and scheduling.
  • Project management as needed.
  • Help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
  • Handle critical communications, correspondence, and document review.
  •  Document management including legal correspondence.
  • Maketravel arrangements.
  • Handle sensitive issues that require confidentiality.
  • Attend meetings of the full Board and Executive and Finance Committee, including preparation of Minutes of meetings, compile and disseminate relevant information to members of the Board of
  •  Provide oversight of headquarters email, including responding and/or forwarding to appropriate staff and follow-up.

Requirements: 
Ability to work effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities,including underserved communities.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing duties similar to those outlined above
  • Excellent typing and note/minute taking skills required.
  •  Proficient computer skills to include: Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and comfort learning new software and tracking systems.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out responsibilities with a minimum of direct supervision
