Family Staff Attorney
Waterbury, CT 06702 US
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Each individual will maintain an active caseload of representation and advice cases
- Attend court and/or administrative hearing appearances
- Provide support as necessary for cross office coverage
- Participate in community outreach and collaboration with social service agencies
- Analyze and help to identify trends and issues and develop strategies to respond to those trends and issues
- Attorney with Connecticut Bar admission, Connecticut Bar Exam and willingness to be sworn in
- Legal experience, litigation preferably
- Commitment to advocacy on behalf of vulnerable and marginalized individuals and communities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
