Our client is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting a range of solutions tailored to various market sectors, working closely with the sales team to deliver exceptional pre- and post-sales assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate complex technology, power systems, and product positioning to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Drive business development efforts both directly with customers and in collaboration with distribution partners.
Gather technical specifications and system architecture from clients, serving as the liaison to the engineering team for product alignment.
Build and nurture strong, ongoing relationships throughout the sales process.
Perform schematic reviews and provide technical insights.
Address customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and thorough responses.
Travel up to 50% to visit clients and engage in business development activities.
Lead technical presentations and seminars to educate clients and stakeholders.
Offer product training sessions for the manufacturer's representative network.
Support product evaluations and assist clients in hands-on testing.
Contribute to creating application notes with guidance from senior engineering leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in analog/power supply design or applications engineering.
Strong hands-on skills as an electronics technician.
In-depth knowledge of analog design principles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
