Job Description


The Panther Group is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Data Engineer to support a leading enterprise client. This role is fully remote within the U.S. and is ideal for candidates with strong technical skills across data engineering, development, and analytics. You’ll work on large-scale ETL pipelines, build dashboards, and collaborate with a virtual team in an Agile environment.

***Not open to C2C or third party agencies. No Visa sponsorship for this role. Must be able to get a US Security Clearance if required***
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines capable of handling hundreds of GBs of data
  • Develop and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2)
  • Create interactive dashboards in Tableau for data visualization
  • Develop full-stack solutions, including frontend, backend, database, and REST/SOAP services
  • Write and maintain tests for data, applications, and visualizations
  • Collaborate with virtual teams using Agile processes (scrum, sprints, planning) and tools like Jira
  • Utilize Git for source control and versioning
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and platforms
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required; dual citizenship not allowed
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with SAP ECC, HANA, or S/4
  • Strong knowledge of the supply chain domain
  • Experience building ETLs for large datasets
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow)
  • Proven ability to support remote/virtual teams
  • Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration in Agile environments
Preferred / Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS S3, IBM Cloud Pak for Data, OpenShift
  • Experience with containerization/orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in big data tools: Apache Spark
  • Experience with TIBCO Data Virtualization
  • Additional experience with SQL Server, DB2, and other relational databases
