Job Description

The person selected for this role will be responsible for generation and creating by graphics, social media, flyers, brochures for medium veterinary and physician businesses to our client’s portfolio of existing and future services. Through leadership from sales management, the Graphic Design personnel will work on specific inbound/ outbound sales campaigns with the responsibility of helping build relationships new and current, while offering innovative suggestions for marketing sales and providing the most current platforms available.


In this role you will respond to the needs of our client and its customers via phone or email regarding all aspects of our clients’ business, in a professional, timely, accurate and caring manner while consistently meeting all guidelines.

CREATIVITY:
  • Recommend new ideas for growth and development of marketing sales.
  • Translates client needs and branding strategies into design strategies.
  • Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software
  • Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts.
  • Collaborating with art directors, branding experts, front end developers, marketing, content, and other professionals to create media.
  • Articulating and pitching design concepts to clients, art directors, and others.

  • Demonstrates appropriate customer-care skills such as empathy, active listening, courtesy, politeness, helpfulness, and other skills as identified.
  • Makes decisions that are consistent with the concept of a win-win-win for members, associates, and our client.
  • Perform skills necessary to create high-quality customer experience.

  • Become knowledgeable about prospective customers’ business practices and functions through enhanced listening skills.
REPORTING:
  • Logs, tracks, and appropriately documents all issues utilizing online systems and procedures and in accordance with all applicable guidelines and requirements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to communicate design choices clearly
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
  • Knowledge of email systems such as Microsoft Outlook sufficient to communicate with both internal and external contacts
  • Knowledge of Word and/or Excel sufficient to enter data
  • Knowledge of working within a database
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
  • Proficiency in PK or related pharmacy software (preferred)

EDUCATION: High School Diploma; Undergraduate College degree (preferred), Certified Pharmacy Technician (preferred)

EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ year’s pharmacy or related industry experience (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
               
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONS: graphic design, quality, or training certifications

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively
    before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to maintain a level and appropriate business demeanor.
