HRIS Reporting Specialist Remote (Approved States) | Hybrid Option Available
Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS Reporting Specialist to join their Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with strong HR systems expertise, advanced reporting capabilities, and a passion for data integrity and process improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering across teams to drive operational excellence.
This position is expected to begin as a 6-month contract assignment, with the potential to convert to a permanent employee.
Location
Full-time remote candidates will be considered if residing in one of the following approved states:
Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia.
Candidates local to the hiring area may have the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity.
Responsibilities
Maintain data integrity across HR systems by conducting audits, identifying discrepancies, and correcting errors to ensure accuracy and quality control.
Generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports and analytics related to headcount, turnover, compensation, compliance, and other workforce metrics.
Collect, organize, and analyze HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
Maintain and update HRIS processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Support HR system implementations, integrations, enhancements, and upgrades, including testing, training coordination, and rollout activities.
Assist with internal and external audits while maintaining required documentation and supporting compliance initiatives.
Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures related to HRIS operations, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
Partner with HRIS and cross-functional HR teams to support workforce planning initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts.
Maintain working knowledge of HR systems and promote effective system utilization throughout the organization.
Contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2–3 years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or a related HR support function, with a strong emphasis on reporting and data analysis.
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
Strong reporting and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with large datasets and reporting functions.
Working knowledge of HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, performance management, and compliance, is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Financial services industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay Rate Range: Up to $40 per hour depending on experience
