VP Strategic Insights - IT Infrastructure & Technology
The Vice President, Strategic Insights, provides leadership and oversight over a data strategy that delivers compelling, actionable insights that will drive decision-making company-wide. This role focuses on leveraging data to grow membership, increase loan volume, and deepen existing member relationships. The Vice President, Strategic Insights, will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations that enhance the company’s objectives and financial performance.
 
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and implement a data analytics strategy to gain deeper insights into how members use products, identifying opportunities to grow, and increase revenue
  • Proactively disseminate data and written recommendations to the business lines to drive product design and pricing strategies, enhancing member retention and increasing profitability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide compelling insights and make recommendations that drive member acquisition and deepen existing member relationships.
  • Analyze member behavior and segmentation to recommend personalized products and services that meet the evolving needs of both new and existing members.
  • Collaborate with lending teams to identify trends, and opportunities that will optimize loan products and drive portfolio growth.
  • Identify opportunities and make strong written recommendations to leverage advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to generate predictive insights that inform recommendations.
  • Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key metrics and trends to executive leadership and key stakeholders in writing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), such as member growth, loan portfolio performance, and member satisfaction.
  • Establish a framework for measuring the effectiveness of data-driven initiatives, with a focus on return on investment (ROI) and long-term business impact.
  • Partner with IT to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data infrastructure and systems.
  • Work closely with product teams to design and launch data-informed products and services.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the organization, presenting findings and recommendations to the executive team
  • Ensure all data initiatives comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Enforce data governance policies to safeguard the company-wide data assets and maintain member trust.
  • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned
 
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in data insights with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly in a credit union or banking environment. 
  • Demonstrated success in planning, organizing, and leading people and activities. Ability to motivate, direct, and coach staff.
  • Experience working with AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient.

DoE targeted base salary to $225K
