Job Description
Under supervision, assists the Inventory Control team’s activities in accordance with procedures. Contributes to the team as a Cycle Counter, Water Spider, or a Help Desk Operator as determined by leadership. Actively participates in data gathering exercises and makes process improvement recommendations to leadership. Other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts cycle counts daily, according to WMS.
- Executes bin audits daily in accordance with provided schedule.
- Utilizes Epicor and Omnify to retrieve and store data pertaining to inventory control.
- Maintains inventory areas by utilizing and promoting efficient material handling practices.
- Files cycle count records so they can be reviewed by management.
- Reconciles inventory discrepancies through Help Desk activities.
- Participates in the implementation of processes that will enhance inventory control.
- Assists Team Lead in collecting data.
- Actively seeks to improve overall understanding of warehouse activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an investigative or reconciliation role related to inventory.
- Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP preferred.
- Effective problem solver
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to comprehend complex written material and instructions.
- Upholds company values, adheres to Caring Associate guidelines.
