Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts on a weekly basis according to a prioritized product group calendar as directed by management.
- Notify management of any stock inventory adjustments from cycle counts.
- Reconcile variances using reconciliation method as defined in cycle counting process.
- Execute inventory transactions based on cycle count reconciliation results.
- Assist in research with AP by counting parts with suspected variances for items purchased by the company.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products stocked or manufactured and how they are assembled with special attention paid to WIP material in the manufacturing cells.
- Engage with operations, planning, and supply chain to support in reconciliation activities when needed.
- Work with management to eliminate non-moving inventory.
- Assist in improving methods of material storage and handling in warehouse and factory, and improved methods for identification, protection, densification, transportation, and replenishment.
