Job Description
Jnr Staff Accountant
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation, reconciliation, and entry of financial accounting data for a mid-size NY law firm. It is essential that this candidate understand basic accounting and bring an analytical mindset with organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the firm's operations team and ensure the accuracy of all financial data
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements, budgets, forecasts
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting.
- 1 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Quickbooks
Targeted base salary DOE $55K-$60K
