Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This employee will be directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Job tasks include machining parts, all types of machinery repairs, fabrication, and facility maintenance.
Work will be done in a safe, neat, workman-like manner. All work will be subject to safety inspections and in various cases will not be accepted until inspected.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Trade school or equivalent training.
- 5 years of work experience.
- Welding and sheet metal experience.
- General plumbing knowledge.
- Knowledge of stamping presses.
- Ability to work from blueprints.
- Millwright experience.
- Lathes and mill (ProtoTrak) knowledge.
- Must be able to stand all day, stoop, and bend.
- Must be able to wear eye protection.
- Must be able to wear hearing protection.
- Eyesight 20/40 with corrective lenses.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Must have own tools.
- Must be capable of working from a ladder.
