The Panther Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate for an exciting opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
The Shipping & Receiving Associate will support incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory management, material handling, and production support activities to ensure materials and products move efficiently throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and shipment information for accuracy and completeness
Load and unload materials, products, and shipments safely
Support material handling, stockroom, and inventory activities
Assist with kitting and staging materials for manufacturing work cells
Work closely with production teams to ensure timely material flow and shipping priorities are met
Prepare bills of lading and coordinate third-party freight and trucking services
Prepare shipment documentation for domestic and international/overseas shipments
Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records within the ERP system
Support warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and general stockroom functions
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Basic computer skills required
Experience with ERP systems (EVO preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including:
Excel
Word
Outlook
