Overview: SubCom's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Responsibilities & Qualifications: The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following: Be able to perform multiple computer transactions with computerized ERP system (Oracle) on a daily basis. And be familiar with MS Office products, Docs Open, and e-mail. Ability to coordinate material and item delivery in an efficient timely manner with Traffic personnel Oversee Consumable Stock Room to ensure item availability, accurate on hand quantities, and maintain vendor relationship Ability to use the Oracle ERP system to process and coordinate a variety of transactions Work to promote TEOA as it relates to Shipping, Receiving and Inventory accuracy Ability to work with people on all organizational levels inside and outside of TE Subcom (Accounting, Purchasing, Vendors) Ability to work with minimum supervision, be flexible, and willing to work overtime as required. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in a Business related field or a minimum of 2 years experience in a related Manufacturing or Manufacturing Support environment. Basic computer experience working with EXCEL, E-mail and Oracle ERP software. Understanding of Shipping, Receiving and Material Control processes
