Job Description

Member Services (Customer Service) Associate
 
Summary:
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire position that provides administrative support to the Member Services Department.  

Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls and other member inquiries
  • Document and track contact with members
  • Educate members on company self-service options
  • Exhibit flexibility necessary to ensure customer focused quality
  • Such other duties or tasks to assist the department as may be necessary
Skills/Requirements:
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, oral, and written.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentially
  • Needs to be receptive to and accepting guidance from others
  • Ability to deal with difficult people and their problems
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Able to work in a diverse group of people
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Having insurance and/or benefits experience and have had insurance or member claims call center or phone experience will be given preference
Physical Demands:
  • Be able to sit for long periods of time
targeted maximum to $22/hr DOE
