Sterling Heights MI Military Vehicle Training Specialist 5-7 years experience Responsible for the Technical Oversight of training products for vehicle platforms based on engineering source data and technical drawings. Lead and assign work to training personal and Assess and evaluate course development for technical accuracy and conformity to contractual standards and requirements. Provide oversight and SME support to Deliver training to Soldiers, Government Test Personnel, Instructors, and key personnel as required for vehicles including new equipment and prototypes. Provide SME support to Develop and deliver training materials to TRADOC formatted for the Training Development Capabilities (TDC) database and for use in the Military School environment. Be the face of the company to internal/external customers Represent company Training during program level meetings, engineering milestone reviews and other significant events Support company initiatives such as Request for Proposals (RFPs), Be part of a Team for Training Events and working groups as defined by Contract.Position Requirements:- Military Experience preferred-Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required.- Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor degrees- Demonstrated solid skills in one or more Logistics Engineering disciplines-Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand Military Training System-Experience in military programs- Ability to Lead Team for Training Exercise at Military Base-Strong decision making skills Ability to Lead other Instructors on Training missions Working knowledge of Army Logistics and Vehicle Platforms Demonstrated solid maintenance and teaching skills and experience Proven capability to effectively lead a team to meet Training objectives- Proven capability to coordinate with IPT leads in providing appropriate Training support and products for program objectives Strong work planning / scheduling skills Experience in military programs Stryker Platforms-Strong experience/familiarity with Army Logistics systems a plus- Ability to perform to high standards in a team-based environment-Willingness to work overtime and travel are required Must meet anthropometric requirements ASR
