Job Description
The Panther Group is hiring multiple Machine Operators for a manufacturing opportunity with an innovative production company in the Nashua, NH, area. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and precision.
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and inspecting production parts and components while following work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
We have openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts:
2nd Shift - Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00PM
3rd Shift - Monday - Friday, 11:00PM - 7:00AM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect production products and components according to setup sheets and work instructions
- Complete production paperwork and daily reporting accurately
- Maintain quality standards while minimizing scrap and production errors
- Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize required PPE
- Communicate production updates, issues, and shift handoffs effectively with team members
- Report quality concerns or equipment issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support team operations and assist with training on basic production tasks as needed
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or ISO-regulated environments
- Experience using microscopes, magnifiers, or optical inspection equipment
- Familiarity with quality systems and production documentation
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components
- Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks
- Ability to work with microscopes or inspection equipment when required
