Job Description
The Panther Group is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our client’s payroll operations team in Lakeland, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong SAP experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role begins with a 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts) and may offer additional schedule flexibility after the initial training period.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll garnishments and child support orders, including setup, deductions, and payments
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to employee and jurisdiction inquiries
- Maintain compliance with court-ordered deductions and payroll regulations
- Review and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues
- Strong experience with SAP payroll systems
- Hands-on experience processing garnishments, levies, and other court-ordered deductions
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be located within 25 miles of Lakeland, FL
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (on-site presence required as needed)
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Pay up to $26.08 per hour DOE
