Job Description

Our client, a financial institution, is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their busy team and provide support in executing a mission critical project.

Responsibilities:

Identify and address the root causes of issues.
Leverage automation tools to streamline and eliminate recurring problems.
Conduct thorough investigations to understand all facets of an issue.
Translate complex problems, manage and implement improvements.
Demonstrate exceptional communication and documentation skills

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably within an information technology field
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in relative work
Proficient in CI/CD automation workflows, preferably Gitlab
Expert in using git and SDLC
Familiarity with using Linux/UNIX systems
Understanding of Cloud Computing, preferably AWS
Working knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
Ability to perform code reviews in pipeline code
Proficient in CI/CD automation, as well as SDLC, Cloud computing (AWS), Python, Bash, and Ansible, demonstrating versatility across a range of technologies.
Must have a strong focus on helping to establish and maintain a DevOps culture
