Production Test Technician III

We are looking for a Production Test Technician III to join a team that builds and tests advanced inspection systems. In this role, you will play an important part in making sure complex equipment is fully tested, calibrated, and working properly before it reaches customers.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working with electronics and mechanical systems, and solving technical problems independently.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical components and systems

  • Work with electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical test fixtures

  • Perform testing using prints, diagrams, and technical instructions

  • Test components, subassemblies, and fully assembled systems

  • Troubleshoot issues and perform rework or adjustments when needed

  • Run and monitor testing processes to verify system performance

  • Document test results and prepare technical reports summarizing findings

  • Analyze data and help identify solutions when technical issues occur

  • Use internal software tools to review work instructions, Bills of Material, specifications, and engineering changes

  • Assist with selecting and setting up specialized test equipment

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by helping develop improved testing processes for future products

  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in testing methods and procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Associate’s Degree or 2-year technical diploma preferred

  • Experience testing and troubleshooting large or complex capital equipment

  • Military electronics experience (such as working on large military platforms) may be considered in place of industry experience

  • Experience with oscilloscopes and digital multimeters

  • Ability to install and configure computer hardware and software

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Comfortable using hand tools and performing assembly work

  • Familiarity with Excel, ERP systems, and digital work instructions

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when troubleshooting problems

  • Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards is a plus
